Prerogatives of the Insurance Committee

To discuss and express views on the laws issued in the field of insurance.
To solve the problems and obstacles faced by the insurance companies and agents and to propose necessary recommendations for them.
To act on approximating views and opinions on interpreting and implementing the insurance laws between the companies and the concerned government departments and also with the Royal Oman Police.
To spread awareness among the public on insurance covers and rights and duties of the insured mentioned in the policies, through audio, visual and print media and also through the holding of seminars.
To promote employment in insurance sector and to coordinate with the training authorities and institutions to train Omani nationals.
