Prerogatives of the Exhibition Committee

To list and study to identify the problems faced by exhibitors and to propose appropriate solutions for them.
To try and act to hold meetings with concerned officials and to submit proposals to them for minimizing the difficulties and obstacles faced by exhibition organizers.
To provide data, statistics, reports and study reports to those engaged in this field.
To convene and prepare the ground for holding seminars and meetings, promoting domestic industrial products through participation in exhibitions.
To study and express views on the merit holding specialized and general exhibitions.
To contact and coordinate with commercial, industrial and agricultural leadership in the country to discuss the ways of promoting and marketing Omani products.
To participate and provide all assistance to media coverage of exhibitions and conferences organized by the Chamber.
To supervise preparations and organization of exhibitions organized by private companies and to make annual plans and chalk out time-schedules for them.
To take necessary actions against companies and factories violating the rules governing organization of exhibitions, in coordination with the ministry of commerce and industry.
