Prerogatives of the Economic Committee

To study and adopt the research papers submitted by the Chamber's administration.
To supervise preparation of economic materials, studies and research papers on Oman's economy and to study the best possible ways available to improve the existing situation.
To represent the Chamber in conferences and meetings held to discuss all types of economic issues and to hold economic conferences locally.
To study in-depth, economic bulletins received by the Chamber and to choose the appropriate methods and systems for exploiting the materials available in Oman and circulate them among the members.
To discuss the domestic and international economic and financial situation and to develop various economic activities related to development projects, laws and rules.
To study the various situations that relate to internal trade and to submit appropriate recommendations that would promote the growth and activation of the economic policies.
To study the problems and obstacles of the trading sector and to discuss and adopt appropriate solutions for them.
