and Industry organizes the SECOND HUMAN
RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT FORUM, Under the patronage
of H.E. Hamed bin Khamis Al Amry,the
Undersecretary of Technological Education &
Vocational Training on Saturday and Sunday 5-6
/May/2007 at Sindbad hall – Crown Plaza

The forum is mainly designed for the directors,
experts and other officers concerned with the
Human Resources Development (HRD). Interacting
session will be conducted to discuss the issues
and topics related to training and employing
sectors which aims at supporting the Omanisation
process of the Sultanate and to improve the
efficiencies of national workforce.
Encouraged by the success of first HRD forum
held last year, the period of second forum is
determined to be for two consecutive days. The
forum will discuss a number of topics and issues
through a variety of working papers to shed
light to various social groups targeted for
human development. In addition to the main paper
that would provide a comprehensive view on
cotemporary international concepts on HRD. The
other working papers will follow dealing with
the social components of human resources that
include the sectors like : Students and youth,
women, persons of special needs, entrepreneurs,
industrial and business corporate in addition to
trade unions.
We are, therefore, pleased to invite you to
enrich the activities of the forum with your
active participation. The lectures of the forum
will be made by a number of prominent expert
from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman.
