Sanad programme consists
of
Sanad Fund for supporting and developing small projects (Ministry of Manpower):
This Fund supports the work-seekers (vocationals and craftsmen) for establishing individuals and families' self-employment projects by providing them the required finance and guidance as per the regulations of financing, in order to enable them to establish their projects.
Training is carried out in the institutes of training in the Sultanate.
Sanad Fund for financing the projects of income sources
(Ministry of social Development)
This Fund supports work-seekers from the social security families and the
disabled to establish productive projects which can provide them with suitable income.
Sanad Offices
These offices are available in the regions and governorates of the Sultanate within the departments of the Ministry of Manpower in which the executive body of Sanad
exists.
Sanad offices are distributed as
follows:
- Sanad office in governorate of Muscat
- Sanad office in governorate of Musandam
- Sanad office in Dakhliya region
- Sanad office in Al Wusta region
- Sanad office in Al Sharkiya region
- Sanad office in Al Batinah region
- Sanad office in Al Dhahira region
Sanad offices practice the following
duties:
- Receiving applications of the work-seekers and the owners of the individual initiatives and transferring these applications to the main office, then informing the applicants about the action taken regarding their applications.
- Providing the citizens who are interested in establishing small projects with guidance and advices as per their desires and capabilities.
- Participating in executing the procedures required for establishing individual and small projects.
- Periodical follow-up of the owners of individual and small projects and helping them by solving their problems.
- Supervising the investmental small projects which
are managed by the Omani owners through individual initiatives.
Sanad nurseries
These nurseries are established for providing temporary care to the small projects. The governmental authorities, public assemblies and private sector participate in establishing them by providing the places and preparations required and by training the candidates to work in them, providing consultancy services, technical and administrative support, deciding the regulations and conditions and evaluating the activities.
