Among the positive indicators in the budget of 2013 is the continuation of the government to stimulate economic growth through increasing government spending, especially development spending, and the consequent actions of adopting more projects and completing the implementation of infrastructure projects in all Provinces and Wilayats of the Sultanate. The most important of these projects are airports, ports, roads, water, sanitation & infrastructure projects at the SEZ in Duqum & other industrial areas.
