Renewal of Subscription
Subscription is to be renewed annually and the renewal fees are given in the table above. For renewal, the Commercial Registration certificate of the establishment should be valid and a copy of the expiring/expired subscription certificate is to be produced.

Pursuant to a decision of the Executive Committee of the Chamber, subscriptions can be renewed for a period of two years. In this case, a sum of RO 4/- will be deducted from the total fee payable (for two years), for the cost of the certificate. All members (except Grade 4)) are required to fill in a Data Updating Form at the time of renewal.

Amending company data
Any changes made to the company’s legal structure, activities, capital, senior management, signing authorities, etc. should be reported to the Chamber of amending the records accordingly. The computer print-outs issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) should be submitted along with the data amendment request.

Downgrading the Grade
Downgrading of the grade is done based on the reduction in capital, first at the MOCI and then at the Chamber. If the subscription was valid at the time of downgrading, a fee of RO 4 will be collected being the charges for issuing a new certificate showing the new grade.

If the subscription was not renewed for the year in which the capital reduction was made, the member should pay the renewal fee of the original grade before downgrading, plus the renewal fee of the new year as per the downgraded grade’s renewal fees.

Upgrading the grade
The steps mentioned for downgrading are to be followed for this also. The renewal fee of the higher grade will have to be paid for one year from the date of upgrading and the new certificate will be valid for one-full year from the date of upgrading. Past renewal arrears, if any, should be paid in full, less RO 4 being the certificate fee.

If the upgrading was done before completing six months from the date of renewal, the renewal fee of the higher grade will be collected, after deducting from it, the renewal fee of the lower grade if already paid, plus RO 4 being the certificate fee. In this case, the certificate will expire on the same expiry date of the existing certificate.

Attestation of Documents
The Chamber attests the documents of the members upon request and in accordance with Article 105 of the Internal Regulation of the Chamber. The fees levied for attestation of various documents are given below. For attesting the documents, the Membership Subscription of the concerned member should be valid and the signature appearing in the documents should be matching with the signatures given in the MOCI specimen signature form.
