Business Visit Visas

Business Visit Visas are not to be used for the purpose of joining any Company on an employment basis. The department concerned should initiate the NOC procedure for contractors and business visitors. These visas permit a single entry for a stay of not more than 1 (one) month in Oman. They are cancelled on departure even if the stay was only for 1 day. Applications must state the period of stay required and it is important not to underestimate the duration of stay as visit visas can only one time have an extension of a maximum one month. Such visas are appropriate for business visitors or contractor personnel who are visiting Oman for 1 month or less, in connection with their Company's business. No Labour clearance is required. All business visit visas require a copy of passport, two photographs and usually take up to 2 weeks to obtain.
