OCCI Board consists of a general body, a board of directors and an executive committee 

The General Body:
The General Body consists of all OCCI members in the regions and governorates of the Sultanate who pay the prescribed registration and membership fees. It adopts the final accounts of the Chamber and gives necessary directions to the board of directors.

The Board of Directors:
OCCI has a board of directors that discharges the prerogatives as established by the relevant laws and regulations. The Board collectively shall be responsible for all the acts of the Chamber, by directing, implementing and monitoring. 

The Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry consists of 21 members, elected and appointed. 

Fourteen of the directors are elected by the OCCI members through secret ballot, out of whom 7 members will be elected by members from the Governorate of Muscat and the remaining 7 to be elected by members, one from each of the following regions: Batinah, Dhahira, Dakhiliya, Sharqiya, Wusta, Dhofar Governorate and the Musandam Governorate. 

Another seven will be appointed by a Royal Decree. The appointed members are chosen from a list of 15 candidates nominated by the Minister of Commerce and Industry.

The President of the Chamber is appointed by a Royal Decree from among the elected and appointed members of the Board, based on a recommendation of the Minister of Commerce and Industry. 

The term of the Board of Directors is 4 calendar years after which elections will be held to elect the new Board of Directors. The Board members should be in the business field for at least 5 years, should be an Omani citizen by birth, should not be a government employee and should be residing in the region which he/she represents, in the appointed members. 

Each subscribed member of the Chamber will have one vote and the member can cast his vote personally or by authorising someone else.

The OCCI Executive committee discusses all matters concerning the development of the performance of the Chamber. It also interacts with events and activities both internal and external, in which the Chamber is invited to participate.
