Two-week Mini – MBA Training Program
We are pleased to inform you that the Oman Chamber of
Commerce and Industry in association with InfoMart LLC,
Muscat is organizing a Mini-MBA Training Program
presented by the Center for Entrepreneurial
Excellence in Bahrain and conducted by the Beyster
Institute at the Rady School of Management, University
of California, San Diego. The Program will be held
in the OCCI Training Centre during the period 21 April
2007 to 2 May 2007 from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm. This
training program will be conducted in English.
Candidates must be have fluent English ability to gain
the benefits of the Program.
The Program is for individuals who are trying to grow a
business or improve the performance of an existing
business. It is an intensive two-week training program
for entrepreneurs, business executives and other
professionals.
The Mini-MBA is designed to transfer practical knowledge
and skills focused on business growth and success. The
Program includes classes on Planning for profit,
Building a management team, Analyzing the market,
Monitoring cash flow and much more. The program
encourages experimental learning, encouraging
participants to apply ideas and concepts to their own
situations and covers the topics Sizing up your
Business, Exploring Growth Oppurtunities, Making
Strategic Decisions, Using Financial Tools,
Strengthening the Product/Service, Seizing the Market,
Leading the Organization, Managing Operations for
Growth, Charting Financial Performance and Making it
Happen.
Limited to 25 people, participants will have the
opportunity to interact with their instructors and
peers. The Program will be led Tim Clay, a certified
FastTrac instructor for Kauffman Fastrac Modules, USA
with experience in helping all types of entrepreneurs
take their businesses to the next level of growth.
Scholarships are available to cover 50% of the cost for
candidates who are individual entrepreneurs. Enrolment
and scholarships to the Program will be at the
discretion of the OCCI and its associate organizers. The
fees for the Program will be RO 100 (RO One hundred
only).
A graduation dinner will be held at the end of the
Program where the participants will receive a
certificate from the Beyster Institute at the University
of California, San Diego at the successful completion of
the Program.
